Privacy Policy

RioLabs ("we", "us") operates this Discovery booking service. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it lives, and your choices. We deliberately keep what we store small.

What we collect

What you give us at intake: name, email, company, website, industry, project type, a description of what you want to build, your current setup, budget range, and timeline.
Booking + payment: your chosen session time, and payment confirmation. We never see or store your card details — payment is handled entirely by Stripe.
Technical: a single strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

What we deliberately don't put in the cloud

Sensitive or out-of-the-ordinary personal detail is not stored in our cloud database. Deeper working context stays on local studio systems and is not transmitted off them except when we explicitly act (e.g. sending you your scope). We store the minimum needed to run the engagement.

How we use it

To schedule and run your Discovery Session, prepare a preliminary scope and quote, and follow up about your project. We do not sell your data, and we do not reuse your concepts for others.

Who we share it with (subprocessors)

Stripe — payment processing.
Google — calendar scheduling.
Email provider — sending booking confirmations.
Cloud hosting — running the service and storing data securely.

Retention

We keep your information while you are a prospect or client and for 24 months afterward, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and you can object to certain uses. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK or California), additional rights may apply. To exercise any of these, email hello@riolabs.studio.
